Pre-war built Orlik II, SP-1373. On display at the 1939/1940 New York World's Fair (Polish Pavilion). Taken by USAAF in 1942, designated as XTG-7. Went through few private users after the war (sold last time? in May 2003 to Dale A. Busque from Andover, Connecticut, USA), broke an international altitude record in 1948, last? civil registration N23727. Last time seen flying in 1995? |
